KEITH C. HENNESSEE

Keith C. Hennessee has joined Givens & Johnston after extensive, high level in-house experience serving most recently as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for National Oilwell Varco for four years; prior to that as Assistant General Counsel for Halliburton for 12 years; and prior to that as Director of Government Affairs with Dresser Industries, and prior to that as an attorney with Ford Motor Company. Over the past 40 years, Keith focused on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”), the UK Anti-Bribery Act and other related anti- corruption laws, in addition to antitrust law and other areas of international trade law that ordinarily vex exporters and importers.

Keith brings a unique understanding of international trade law in these areas. He specializes in creating tailored training programs for companies and employees to prevent costly violations, auditing existing systems, identifying areas for procedural improvement, and simplifying compliance procedures.

He was also listed as a Texas Super Lawyer in 2007 and was an AV rated attorney by Martindale in 2008.
